The Northlake Fire Protection District is heartbroken to share the news of a tragic residential fire that occurred early this morning at 74 West Drive.

Despite the swift response and best efforts of our Firefighter / Paramedics and neighboring agencies, we are deeply saddened to confirm the loss of two members of our community, Susan Palos and Maricarmen Wilkerson.

There are no words to ease the pain of such a profound loss. On behalf of every member of the Northlake Fire Protection District, we extend our most sincere condolences to the family, friends, and neighbors affected by this tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this incredibly difficult time.

We also want to thank the Northlake Police Department and the surrounding fire departments for their assistance on the scene.

Must have CPAT/Ladder Climb certification by conditional offer

Pass background, polygraph, medical, and psych evaluations
