Our mission is to honor the life of our daughter, Emma Elizabeth Scanlon, whose kindness and generosity knew no bounds. ded to be of service to others. Our goal is to give scholarships to more students in our community who need them. In second grade, Emma was diagnosed with dyslexia, and she worked tirelessly throughout her school years to read like her peers. Although this disability made her school days difficult, it contributed to her being extremely compassionate, resilient, and hard-working. She was sympathetic to others who experienced challenges and was quick to compliment and encourage others facing adversity. She planned to attend college after graduation and expressed that she would be fulfilled in a profession dedicated to helping others. Emma passed two months before she graduated high school, but her legacy lives on through this scholarship. We are committed to helping other seniors attend college through Emma’s Memorial Scholarship fund. Every contribution will allow us to commemorate our beloved Emma and continue to celebrate her kind, compassionate, and generous spirit.
