MANNA at the Shore Providing nourishing meals for those in need
by Beth Israel's Social Action Committee We now feed people in Atlantic, Cape May and Cumberland counties.

We provide nutritious meals to people living with HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening illnesses who are too sick to cook for themselves.

In conjunction with the South Jersey Aids Alliance, our program continues to feed and nourish those in our community who most need assistance.

General information

As an integral part of Beth Israel's Social Action Project in Northfield, NJ, our volunteers meet twice monthly to cook and package over 2000 meals each month. We are helped by local chefs who donate their time along with multigenerational families from the community who come together to enjoy helping others. The cooked meals are delivered by the South Jersey Aids Alliance of Atlantic City. Additional meals are home delivered to local hospice patients. When preparing our menus, nutrition and taste are paramount. Once the meals are delivered, they gift our clients with the resounding affirmation that someone cares.
