The 2026-2027 LIHEAP season is here!
South Jersey Gas is hosting Energy Assistance Enrollment Events all October to help eligible households apply for LIHEAP and USF. Staff will answer questions and help with applications, and some events will have community resource partners on site.

It's been a busy week for CONTACT Cape-Atlantic! Here's where you may have spotted us:

🗓️ Friday – Started the day at a nonprofit marketing training in Cumberland County with The Authority of Cumberland County, NJ, then headed to a block party at AC Townhomes to table and connect with the community.

🗓️ This week – Traveled to Salem County for the MAPS- Marketing and Admissions Professonals of South Jersey meeting at Salem College, and stopped by the CVAC veterans event in Wildwood.

🗓️ Yesterday – Wrapped up the week at the Jersey Senior Marketing Meeting, where we also celebrated Dine's birthday! 🎉

Grateful for all the partners and community members we got to connect with this week. More to come!

Last night we had the pleasure of attending the Atlantic City Community Fund's Reception at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, a beautiful evening celebrating the incredible impact happening across our community.

We are so honored that CONTACT Cape-Atlantic was selected as a grant recipient this year! This support helps us continue providing free telephone reassurance and check-in services to older adults, people with disabilities, and isolated individuals across South Jersey.

It was wonderful to celebrate alongside the Fund's board, our fellow grant recipients, and the generous supporters who make this work possible. Thank you to the Atlantic City Community Fund for investing in organizations like ours, and in the people we serve.

UPDATE: Today's Fall Protection 101 Educational Seminar with Ukemi Health Partners has been postponed.

We know a lot of you were looking forward to learning practical tools to reduce fall risk and we're just as excited to bring this seminar to you soon! We'll share a new date as soon as it's confirmed.
