🐾 Learning, Training & Growing Together! 🐾

Today, as part of our Paws with a Purpose program at Plumb Hill Middle School, the students and our service dogs in training had another incredible learning opportunity!

The students brought the pups to an assembly where the eighth graders were learning about the agriculture program and Wamogo FFA at Lakeview High School. While the students learned, our puppies had some important work of their own—practicing how to remain calm, focused, and engaged with their handlers in a brand-new environment filled with people, movement, sounds, and distractions.

And they absolutely ROCKED it! 🐾⭐

Experiences like this are such an important part of raising a future service dog. Learning to stay calm and confident in busy, unpredictable environments helps prepare our dogs for the real world and, ultimately, for the person who will one day depend on them for greater independence and confidence.

A HUGE thank you to our amazing Plumb Hill students for their hard work, patience, and dedication to these future service dogs. You aren’t just helping train puppies—you are helping prepare dogs that will someday change someone’s life. ❤️🐾

One puppy, one student, one experience at a time.

What a great weekend! 🐾💙

It was so wonderful getting to meet so many new people, share the mission of Bronze Star Service Dogs Inc., connect with potential new volunteers, and spend time with the amazing volunteers who already give so much to our organization.

Our service dogs in training had some fantastic training opportunities, gained valuable real-world experiences, and, of course, enjoyed plenty of love and attention along the way!

The Harwinton Fair may be over, but we’re not slowing down! 🐕⭐ Next weekend, you can find Bronze Star Service Dogs at the Garlic & Harvest Festival in Bethlehem! 🧄🍂

Come say hello, meet some of our team of amazing volunteers and dogs in training, learn more about what we do, and find out how you can get involved.

We hope to see you there! 💙🐾

Bringing our community together, one paw at a time. ⭐
