We welcome families with children of all ages whom wish to meet up in the Northern Kentucky and nearby Cincinnati area. Our families meet year-round for free playgroups every Tuesday 10am-1pm. This website complements our playgroup, enabling parents to offer support, become closer friends, and continue those cut-short conversations from play dates. In addition to our playgroups, we schedule field
trips, moms' night outs, and family gatherings. During warm weather months, we meet outdoors for free play at area parks, giving our kids space to run, jump, climb, and explore. When the weather turns cold, we have more structured play at our indoor location in NKY. Circle time embraces the parent-child bond with stories, songs, rhymes, finger games, rhythms and movement. Playgroup enables kids to socialize with others and learn the importance of sharing and taking turns; while moms, especially new moms, are enriched by opportunities to share parenting experiences and skills with others. Many of our members practice attachment parenting or gentle discipline and are moving towards more natural and frugal lifestyles. We're an open-minded group. It's not uncommon to hear discussions about environmentalism, cloth diapers, elimination communication, extended breastfeeding, babywearing, home birth, family bed and co-sleeping, natural herbal remedies, homeschooling, non-vaccinating, and other unconventional topics.
