We were honored to give a $5,000 grant to the Northbrook Symphony Orchestra. The grant will be used to subsidize the cost of their October 25, 2026 concert - Northbrook 125 Orch/ Sumptuous Strings. This will be their opening concert of their 47th season and it will tie into Northbrook 125, the Village's 125th anniversary celebrations!!!!

Northbrook Civic Foundation presented a $5,000 towards new outdoor playground for The Cove School as seen in the picture.

The Cove School is a therapeutic day school, nonprofit and national leader in educating students with complex learning disabilities. Their approach creates an environment where students can build the self-confidence necessary for successful transitions to their community schools, or to make post- secondary choices. It is just as important to establish this sort of environment outside the classroom as within. Our funding will help cover the expense of their newly created playground which has just been completed for students to continue their education even while outdoors.

Another incredible grant made to TotalLink to Community! $5,000!

🎨 This money will be used to launch a ceramics and pottery program within TotalLink's programs by training staff through a partnership with I JUST AM. 🎨

Northbrook Civic Foundation presented a grant to Special Gifts Theatre in the amount of $2,340 earlier this month!

The grant will be used to purchase equipment and supplies to enhance classroom and performance experience for the students which include, magnifying screens for sensory support, walkie talkies and a variety of art supplies to enhance creativity.

Yesterday the Northbrook Civic Foundation presented the Cancer Wellness Center with a grant of $5,245!

This grant will help fund an AED machine to help make their location safer. The grant will also help install security cameras, which are much needed and to help keep their facility safe.
