Northbrook Woman's Club Foundation Philanthropy, Community Service, and Friendship are the three pillars for our club.

The Northbrook Woman’s Club Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting the community through philanthropy and service while fostering personal fulfillment through shared interests. Since its inception in 1955, the Club and later the Foundation have raised and donated more than $1.2MM for college scholarships and grants to local service organizations. The club initiated a community valued scholarship fund in 1963, which today is a significant portion of our philanthropic contributions. The remaining contributions have been awarded as grants to various organizations and projects in the area.

We want to thank everyone who supported and participated in an amazing book drive. We collected over 1500 books that will now go into the hands of deserving
children across the area. We also want to thank our partners in the project, the Northbrook Farmers Market, Book Bin and school districts 27, 28 and 30.

FROM Bernie’s Book Bank Book Drive
“On behalf of all of us at Bernie’s Book Bank, thanks to the Northbrook Women’s
Club for hosting a book drive and donating over 1,500 children’s books! Your
generosity and advocacy for our mission are directly helping us provide books to
children across our community. Because of your support, we are able to put books
into the hands of 185 children this year — giving them the tools they need to read
their way to a better life. Please extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who
contributed their time, effort, and books to this drive,” said Bernie’s Book Bank.

Memorial Day 🇺🇸is a time for communities to come together in remembrance, gratitude, and service. As we gather with family, friends, and neighbors, we honor the brave men and women who gave their lives for our country and the freedoms we enjoy each day. It is also a reminder of the strength of community — supporting one another, sharing traditions, and reflecting on the sacrifices that unite us all
