Directions

Northborough FireFighters Association Northborough FireFighters Association is a non-profit organization made up of active and retired members of the Northborough Fire Department.

The Northborough Firefighters Local 3057 was chartered in 1986 for the welfare of its members and for the community of Northborough. Currently we have 20 active members. We are proud to serve the community in charitable ways. We support nationally recognized organizations like the IAFF Burn Foundation and MDA. We also assist locally by awarding scholarships to deserving studentsl. We support the Northborough Youth Baseball, Softball and Football. We also support fellow public safety personnel when the need arises. Our members participate in a consortium of 23 communities known as Fire District Fourteen. We provide manpower and resources to the regional Teams for Tech Rescue, Dive Team and Fire Investigation. It is through the District that we can fund these vital services that would otherwise go unfunded. We are also proud in a unique way to have two of our retired members (Ed Wright and Dave Hunt) as founding members of the Red Knights Motorcycle Club.

đźš’ A Beautiful Day for a Drive & Show! đźš’

Purchased in 1922 for $8,000, this custom-built Maxim fire engine was one of Northborough’s first motorized fire trucks. It served the Town of Northborough MA from 1923 until 1966, when it was purchased by the Northborough FireFighters Association, who still proudly own and maintain it today.

Today, members of the Association brought this special piece of Northborough history to an antique fire truck show in Marlborough, joining many other beautifully preserved fire apparatus.

More than 100 years later, this Maxim is still turning heads and proudly representing Northborough! ❤️🚒

This afternoon members stood shoulder to shoulder in support of our brothers and sisters in blue as Jake was respectfully returned to his home town. Services will take place next week. This is a difficult time for several Northborough Police Department Officers, Northborough Public Safety Dispatchers and Massachusetts State Police Troopers who knew Jake and his family. Any small acts of kindness from the public will have more meaning than you know. 💙🕊️
