It’s official! We had our soft launch where we shred our vision for Leo’s Home and couldn’t have been more happy with the feedback. So many great conversations and meetings set with some of the greatest real estate / non profit minds in the industry. So excited to finalize our vision and get to work!

Leo’s Home will focus on two distinct target markets; first-time home-buyers and current homeowners.

First-time home-buyers will be individuals and families who either have FHA pre-qualification (completed an accredited First Time Home-Buyers course) or are financially capable of making a home purchase without FHA financing. Leo’s Home will not be providing an accredited course, at least during its initial phases, and will instead seek to partner with organizations that have existing processes in place. Leo’s Home will instead focus on property search/identification, offer negotiation, delivery of amenable mortgage underwriting and insurance terms, downpayment assistance, and homeownership retention services.

The target homeownership retention client will be an individual or family who holds title to real property and requires assistance maintaining ownership and/or title to that property. The circumstances in which Leo’s Home would offer potential services include; significant deferred maintenance impacting the livability conditions of a home; title issues related to arrears payments for mortgage, insurance, or taxes; and exigent circumstances requiring homes to be retrofitted for accessibility needs. These programs are often referred to as “Aging in Place”
initiatives.
