In this entry-level position, you’ll be shadowing a team of talented mechanics, fabricators, and engineers to learn and absorb the art of vintage vehicle restoration and customization. In addition to general mechanics, metal shaping, engine building and machining are just some of the other disciplines you will be exposed to. Taking direction from both your manager and team members with daily tasks to achieve an excellent customer experience and award-winning results for our customers. This is not a paint and body work restoration position.
While direct experience is not a pre-requisite for this position, schooling in related auto repair and mechanics or personal hobby experience in vintage car repair and restoration is needed. We’re looking for candidates who are just as passionate about building, driving, and maintaining vintage vehicles as we are. We want to hire candidates who are not just looking for a job, but looking to build a long-term career. If interested, you should be prepared to talk to us in detail about your projects, whether personal or school-related.
You must be responsible, eager, and willing to learn daily. Every day is an adventure with vintage vehicles, and you never know what you’re going to get. So starting every morning with a positive and ready-to-go attitude is imperative.
During your tenure at Millworks, you will get exposure to and learn the discipline of wearing many hats in a small business. Rapidly gaining well-rounded trade skills, business acumen, and an appreciation for hard work. We offer competitive pay and benefits in a relaxed atmosphere but take our work and process seriously. Our shop is located in southern New Hampshire.
DM us if interested or please pass it on to someone that may be interested. More detail on our website under careers.✌️
