The team showed up to support Food Bank of Western Massachusetts and Will Bike 4 Food today! We had over 12 riders out on the road managing the challenging weather. But as someone said, riding in the rain is better than dealing with food insecurity, especially when dealing with a cancer diagnosis.
It was great to see a few of our PDC Incorporated friends out there! No sugar cubes riding on a day like today!!

This Sunday, our Bikes Fight Cancer team is riding in Will Bike for Food — and today, every donation to our team gets matched dollar-for-dollar. That means: $25 becomes $50 and $100 becomes $200!

Every dollar helps the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts provide nutritious meals to neighbors in need — including patients and families facing cancer, for whom good nutrition can be critical to treatment and recovery.

For people facing cancer, good nutrition can be an essential part of treatment, recovery, and overall well-being. Yet many patients and families, along with thousands of others across Western Massachusetts, struggle with food insecurity every day. No one should have to choose between paying for treatment, keeping the lights on, or putting healthy food on the table.
