Smith College Korean Students Association

Smith College Korean Students Association Welcome to Smith KSA! Korean Students Association is devoted to spreading awareness and more information about Korean culture and traditions around Smith!

KOREAN STUDENTS ASSOCIATION (KSA)
The Korean American Students of Smith Club was first founded in 1985. Its purpose is “(1) to act as a support network for all Korean and Korean-American students of Smith College, (2) to create awareness and understanding of Korean identity and culture within the community at large through educational, cultural, and social programs, (3) to promote cooperation wit

h other Korean and Korean-American groups through intercollegiate functions, and (4) to strengthen unity with other Asian and Asian-American students at Smith while addressing [their] own specific needs and concerns.” While all Smith College students of Korean descent are automatically considered members of the club, the group welcomes anyone with an interest in the club’s purposes and goals. Meetings are held regularly and the organization facilitates and participates in numerous activities, from conferences to concerts, dances, and more.
