Smith Community Garden

Smith Community Garden The Smith Community Garden is a student organization at Smith College in Northampton, MA.

The idea of a starting a community garden was conceived of in 2007, when a small group of students and faculty wrote a proposal for a pilot program. The college gave us a small plot of land off-campus at the Fort Hill School, and the org was soon chartered. We received a plot of land on campus in May 2010, and have been growing ever since.

Happy Tuesday!!
REMINDER: Mtg tomorrow in the usual location (CC 103/104) at 4 PM! We'll be heading to the garden shortly after checking in for a few minutes. ALSO, keep your eyes peeled for an email/FB post regarding winterizing the garden this Saturday AM!

Happy Tuesday everybody! REMINDER that tomorrow, 11/7, we will be meeting during our regular meeting time/location @ 4 PM in CC 103/104. We will be discussing gardening plans like usual & then heading over to the Community Garden! You're also welcome to meet us directly at the Community Garden if that works better for you :) Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!!

Weren't able to make last night's meeting?! No worries--come on by the Community Garden (located outside of Lamont house) this afternoon for pumpkin carving at 4 PM! A pumpkin & supplies will be provided, so just bring yourself & some Halloween spirit :)
