The PogoHayes Foundation was created to keep Haley’s passion alive. There was nothing in this world Haley loved more then to Pogo. The Pogo community accepted her and supported her as the only female athlete in the sport. She may not have been the best pogo’er but she gave her heart, soul, and every effort to do the absolute best she could do…and honestly I hated to watch her for the fear she woul
d get hurt, but she was AMAZING! She took a fall and she got right back up…there was no fear. Our mission is to take what Haley enjoyed and help others be able to accomplish their dreams. But not to stop there…
If Haley could only fight her struggle with mental health the way she fought so hard to get back on that pogo stick we would still be watching her today doing what she loved. Our wish is to grow this foundation and not only support athletes in accomplishing their dreams but also bring awareness to mental health. It’s a disease that often goes unnoticed but yet effects so many of us. It’s a disease that doctors want to so quickly solve with medications without ever meeting the patient in person, or finding the root of the cause. What we do will never bring Haley back but our hopes are to make a difference in someone’s life. Whether it is supporting an athlete or bringing awareness to mental health 100% of our profits go back to those in need (including the furry animals Haley loved so much).
