ARREST NETANYAHU! RALLY

Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at Noon, Northampton City Hall

Voice your outrage that President Biden and the U.S. Congress would dare to permit Benjamin Netanyahu into the U.S. Netanyahu is a war criminal responsible, with the U.S. government, for genocide against the Palestinian people.

The British medical journal, The Lancet, has estimated that the Netanyahu and Biden governments have killed more than 186,000 people in Gaza since October 7 – 8% of the population, equivalent to 26 million dead in the U.S.

- Demand that the U.S. stop shipping weapons to Israel.

- Demand an immediate, permanent ceasefire in Gaza, the West Bank, and east Jerusalem.

- Demand that the U.S. require Israel to open all Gaza land crossings and cease the land, sea, and air blockade of the Gaza Strip. Demand the immediate, ongoing, unimpeded delivery of humanitarian and reconstruction aid to the Gaza Strip.

- Demand that the U.S. resume funding UNRWA.

- Demand the release of all prisoners.

- Demand that President Biden, administration members, and Congressional leaders be prosecuted under U.S. and international law with conspiring with Israeli leaders to commit genocide and other war crimes.

VISUALS - We will have large puppets of Netanyahu and Biden wearing “war criminal” signs and handcuffs, as well as signs and banners. We will also have gravestones representing specific people killed in Gaza since October 7, 2023. Please bring your own signs and banners.

The rally will be held rain or shine, and whether or not Netanyahu comes to the U.S.

Organized by the Leahy Fast for Palestine Committee (named after the U.S. Leahy Law, which forbids the shipment of U.S. weapons to gross violators of human rights.)

If you couldn’t make it or didn’t get a chance to screen print yesterday, there will be more of these to come soon! 💫

If you have experience screen printing and want to volunteer to help people screen print at future events and/or if you want to help us screen print these designs onto a bunch of T-shirts ahead of time to have on hand to give away, please DM us! Also if you have blank T-shirts to donate, be on the lookout for how to drop them off over the next month. 😁

We’ll have screens to print with the designs pictured on this graphic that say:
👚“Abolish the Police and Free Palestine”
👚“Defund Police, Fund Communities”
👚“Cops Are Not Good for Children and Other Living Things”

Valley Families for Palestine will have T-Shirts for sale ($15 each: onesies, 3T-5T and youth sizes XS-XL) and ready to tie-dye! They’ll also have a banner that reads “Kids Say Free Palestine”, outlined in black, which everyone can help color.

‼️Bring as many of your own T-shirts and items to print on as you can! We’ll also have some extras on hand.

🎨We’ll also have some banner making supplies and kids activities. Everyone is encouraged to bring supplies and art projects you want to work on as well.
