June is PTSD Awareness Month. It is reported that over half of Ukrainians have PTSD – a number that will only continue to grow as Russia's war on Ukraine continues.

Here are some ways you can support Ukraine's mental health infrastructure and PTSD awareness this month:

- Advocate for better PTSD research and treatment methods.
- Share the teal ribbon with your network as a show of support.
- Educate yourself on the rising numbers of PTSD in Ukraine and share what you learn with your community.
- Donate to ACHF's mental health initiative.

Through communal action, we can continue to provide better PTSD care for veterans, soldiers and civilians in Ukraine.

On this day, we remember the anniversary of the Ems Ukaz—a decree that sought to silence a language, a culture and a people. By restricting the use of Ukrainian in print, education and public life, it aimed to erase identity and suppress expression.

Yet language endured. Despite bans and barriers, Ukrainian voices continued to be spoken, written and passed from generation to generation. Today, we honor that resilience—the refusal to be silenced—and recognize the power of language as a cornerstone of culture, memory and freedom.

We also acknowledge that russia is still trying to erase Ukrainian identity. Through ongoing warfare, kidnapping of children and massacres of civilians, russia aims to eradicate Ukrainian culture and identity. has overcome this erasure in the past and will overcome it once again. 🇺🇦

Today is the Holiday of the Last Bell in Ukraine!

This school year was not defined only by lessons, exams and graduation photos — it was defined by resilience. Ukrainian students continued learning through air raid sirens, blackouts, uncertainty and separation from loved ones. Teachers continued teaching with unwavering dedication, and families continued believing in the power of education even in the hardest moments.

Today, the Last Bell is more than a school tradition. It is a symbol of strength, courage and hope. It honors every student who refused to give up on their dreams and every educator who helped keep those dreams alive despite the challenges of war.

May this day remind us that knowledge is powerful, is stronger than fear and the future belongs to those who continue moving forward no matter the obstacles.

Congratulations to all graduates and students across . Your perseverance inspires the world. 💙💛

- 70 children received toys
- 41 packages of Pampers were delivered
- 10 toys were purchased to be shared communally in the children's play area

At the Heart Institute, they delivered gifts to 10 children.

No private grant or governmental funding was used in this project as donations came from our generous donor base. All toys were purchased locally due to our care for the environment as well as the desire to support the local Ukrainian economy. Thank you for continuing to !

Today is Memorial Day, an American holiday dedicated to mourning the lives lost serving in the American Armed Forces. We are thankful each and every day for the men and women who have served our country, and we remember the fallen patriots today. 🇺🇸

While we honor our American heroes, we also honor the Ukrainian heroes who have fallen in battle. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are fighting for freedom and sovereignty – values we uphold and respect as Americans. Many of our Ukrainian brothers and sisters have lost their lives standing for these basic values.

Today, we honor the fallen Americans and Ukrainians who sacrificed everything for their country. Without them, Americans would not have the freedoms we do, and Ukrainians would not still be able to fight for freedom. May we honor the memories of the fallen by continuing to fight against oppression and standing with those in need. 🇺🇦

May 23 is Heroes Day in Ukraine! Today we honor those who have fought and are fighting for Ukrainian freedom. 🇺🇦

Many have fallen in the fight against the aggressor state, russia. Many have taken up a burden that was never theirs to bear. Many have chosen to serve through their talents and by aiding their community. Today, we honor every individual who is and has served Ukraine in their fight for freedom.

From the Heavenly Hundred, to the soldiers on the frontlines today, to those in the Battle of Kruty: you are our heroes. Thank you for all you have done! To those who serve in hospitals, in civil service and in other support means: you are our heroes, too! To those here in the US that stand with Ukraine: You are our heroes! You are all the spirit of Ukraine! 💙💛

Today is Vyshyvanka Day! Vyshyvanka Day is a holiday dedicated to preserving the ethnic tradition of Ukrainian embroidery known as vyshyvanka. This day often also coincides with the celebration of Pysankas, a traditionally painted Ukrainian Easter egg.

At a time when Ukrainian tradition and heritage is under threat, days like this are more important than ever. Today, we encourage you to wear your vyshyvanka clothing and pay homage to Ukrainian tradition. May it continue to be preserved throughout history!

May 18 is the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Genocide of the Crimean Tatar People. On this day in 1944, the Crimean Tatars were forcefully removed from their homes in Crimea by the Soviet Union. Due to their poor treatment and rushed deportation, many women, children and elders died. Today, this event is recognized as an act of genocide by the Ukrainian Parliament, the Verkhovna Rada.

Additionally, in 2014, russia invaded Crimea. Today, the Crimean people are still under russian rule and oppression. Ukraine stands with Crimea and its people as they continue to demand their rights are restored.

Today, we mourn the genocide caused by russian authoritarianism. The russian state has not changed since 1944 – it is still a power-hungry, oppressive regime and will continue to end more lives than they deem unworthy. Let us continue to fight against this power and honor those who were taken too soon.
