We want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who supported our mission to serve Wilkes County and Western NC in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. Because of your generosity, prayers, and hard work, we were able to serve hundreds of families in need—blessing them with essential supplies, love, and the gospel.

This would not have been possible without each of you who donated, volunteered, and lifted us up in prayer. Together, we’ve made a lasting impact on the lives of so many.

At this time, all operations have ceased. A huge thank you to all the volunteers who helped make this possible, and an especially BIG thank you to Bovhik Patel for lending us the building that made this entire operation a success, and Nichol Parker for assembling the teams that moved the supplies to where they’re needed!

🚨 Exciting News! Phase 2 of Compassion In Action is Here! 🚨

We are thrilled to announce the launch of Phase 2 of Compassion In Action! This next phase is focused on building tiny homes for individuals currently living in tents in the Newland area. In addition, we’re partnering with Mary Beth Poole to assist those struggling with hot tents across the region. 🌍🏠

These tiny homes will be 10'x10' structures featuring 4 fold-away beds/shelves, designed to offer dignity, security, and a sense of home to those in need.

However, we can't do this alone — we need your help to bring this vision to life. Here’s how you can make a difference:

🔨 Ways to Help:

Donate supplies
Volunteer your time to help construct, transport, or assemble the homes
Help us assemble kits and build frames at our CIA Warehouse before transporting them to the sites for quick assembly
🛠️ We Need the Following Supplies:

Nails/Screws
Plywood (for flooring and walls)
Sheetrock
Shingles
Siding
Insulation
Doors & Small Windows
Sturdy Hinges (for foldaway beds)
Affordable Flooring Materials

Our goal is to build sturdy, comfortable homes as quickly as possible to provide relief for those facing homelessness. The homes will be assembled with care, from framing to finishing, and we’ll work together to make them welcoming, functional, and beautiful.

Phase 2 will also involve setting up our official Non-Profit to better serve our community and expand our efforts! 💡

If you are looking for something to do this Christmas to help people affected by Helene, we could use around 100 of these boxes to pack with toys, supplies, and snacks for kids. We have items to pack and will have a packing party Friday evening, December 20 (Time TBD), and we would also love if you wanted to pack a box yourself. This will be very similar to Operation Christmas Child, but we want you to pick your age, gender, and items. We would also ask that you pack your items in a small reusable box like pictured below.

Items can include (but not limited to):
Small Toys
Hygiene
Small Snack Packs
Coloring Books
Crayons/Colored Pencils
Bibles
Diapers/Wipes
Blankets
Ribbon to Tie Blankets and Coats to the boxes with

We will be packing each box with a gospel tract and a book. We will tie a rolled blanket and warm coat to the top of each box as well!
