A part of the Wilkes Playmakers community theater organization, Junior Playmakers is a group of kids and teens, guided by adult mentors, who work together to put on shows, learn about acting & staging productions, and have a lot of fun doing community theater in an environment geared toward young performers. Junior Playmakers was founded so that young people in the Wilkes region would not only hav

e an opportunity to get involved in the theater, but also have a group of their own, where they could play an integral part in choosing their own productions and the course of the program throughout the year.
