The Children’s Fresh Air Home in North Wildwood, NJ, is looking for a mission-driven leader to guide our free, faith-based summer camp for kids ages 7–13 from southern New Jersey and surrounding areas.
- Live on site (optional year 1, mandatory year 2 and beyond during program operation months-private housing provided)
- Develop program and curricula based on 5 pillars

Children’s Fresh Air Home – North Wildwood, NJ
Seasonal position | On-site housing provided | Summer 2026

The Children’s Fresh Air Home (CFAH) is a nonprofit summer camp at the Jersey Shore that provides a free, faith-based, life-changing experience for children ages 7–13 from Camden, Philadelphia, and surrounding areas. We’re seeking a Camp Superintendent to lead our summer operations who is mission-driven, organized, and passionate about helping kids grow, laugh, and thrive.

The Camp Superintendent will oversee all on-site activities, staff, and volunteers; manage daily camp operations; ensure safety and compliance; and bring our five pillars to life: Art & Creative Expression, Spirituality & Inner Growth, Music & Rhythm, Marine & Coastal Science, and Physical Fitness & Play. This is a hands-on leadership role with private housing provided during the camp season.

Qualifications:

- Experience leading youth, camp, or community programs
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- CPR/First Aid certified (or ability to obtain before start)
- Must be 25+, able to work outdoors, and available full-time June–August 2026 (part-time prep work begins February/March)

Join us in making this summer unforgettable for Camden’s kids — where faith, fun, and friendship come together by the sea. Salary range - $26-$34 an hour during off season based on experience and $15,000 stipend plus room and board for full time on site 3 month summer program.

The Childrens Fresh Air Home kicked off it's summer “If Just for a Day” program this past week with a fun day in the sun for the deserving children of the Gesu School from Philadelphia.

A great time was had by all. Thank you to all the Fresh Air Home volunteers, the North Wildwood Beach Patrol, the kind folks at the Hereford Inlet Lighthouse, and the City of North Wildwood for creating such a fabulous fun summer experience.
