The 21st Annual Golf Outing was a big success. Thank you to the golfers who came out on a rainy day and played through it. We couldn’t be successful without the volunteers who also braved the rain and were there around the course greeting the golfers. Avalon Golf Course and Restaurant did a great job and provided a lovely dinner. I also want to thank our sponsors who help make the outing a success.

The Cape May County Emerald Society Annual Golf Outing will take place on Monday, May 11, 2026 at the Avalon Golf Club. There are still openings for golfers and sponsors. The outing is $140.00 per golfer and includes Golf, cart, beer on course, dinner and 1 hour open bar. Sponsorships are available for $50.00. Please reach out to Mary Huff at 609-970-7043 if you are interested in participating in the outing or if you would like a sponsorship.

It was a great time at the Emerald Society St Patrick’s Parade party. Mike Goetz and company did a fabulous job decorating the hall. He also put out a wonderful buffet consisting of ham, cabbage, potatoes, green beans, cole slaw and hot dogs. Music was provided by Dan the DJ and he did a great job getting everyone up on the dance floor. Thanks Linda Gorman for snapping photos.

Irish Weekend Parade Party will be held at the Knights of Columbus hall on Sunday September 21st immediately after the parade. The cost for Emerald Society members who march in the parade is $20.00. Non marchers and guests is $30.00. The cost includes a Ham and Cabbage buffet, music by DJ Mark and a 3 hour open bar featuring well drinks, domestic bottled beer, draft beer and wine. All other beverages will be available to purchase. Come out and enjoy a fun day closing out Irish Weekend.

Cape May County Emerald Society Annual Golf Outing will take place on Monday May 12, 2025. The outing will be held at the Avalon Golf Course and will cost $135.00 per player. The outing includes 18 holes of golf, cart and beer on the course. There will be a buffet dinner with a one hour open bar for all golfers. The Golf Outing supports the Emerald Society Scholarship Program.

Tickets are still available for the 2024 Christmas Party which is being held on December 21, 2024. The party is being held at the Knights of Columbus and will run from 4 to 7. Buffet dinner and 3 hr open bar are included for 45.00 for members and 55.00 for non members. Please contact Mary Huff at 609-970-7043 for tickets.
