Oppose the Penn Ambulatory Center

Final approval of the land development for the Penn project is going in front of the board of supervisors on Monday. This will be held at the Township building at 7:00PM. I encourage everyone to attend as this is the most important platform for our concerns to be heard.

Hi everyone! Looks like the decision on the conditional use will be announced at Monday’s Board of Supervisors meeting. Meeting is Monday the 10th, 7pm at the Township building.

The Board of Supervisors will hear Penn Medicine’s petition for conditional use to conduct the ambulatory center on the DeKalb parcel at the township building on Monday, March 27 at 7:00 pm. Please attend!

Here are renderings of the planned 4-story 160,000 sqft medical building and a parking garage with 800+ parking spaces. They expect to operate M-F 7am - 8pm and some Saturday hours.

The Montgomery Township, PA Planning Commission meets tonight at 7:30PM at the Admin Building 1001 Stump Rd to hear Penn Medicine's proposal for an Ambulatory Center to be located on Dekalb Pike between Welsh and Knapp. We oppose this facility and shared our concerns with North Penn Now. In the span of about 1 minute at 7:48am 15 cars entered the Penn medicine Radnor facility, which is the model for the new North Wales facility. Imagine rush hour on Welsh with this type of additional traffic.

Poor planning: the Penn Medicine complex is inconsistent with strategic efforts for more "green" space as the area becomes overcrowded and overbuilt.

Neighborhood Concern - Privacy

This 75-foot building will literally be in our backyards. The structure is only 140 feet away from certain properties.

The 2,000+ estimated daily visitors will be able to look out the Penn building windows and right into our houses, swimming pools, and yards.

Community Concern -- Displaced Wildlife

Wildlife has made the property their refuge and will be dispersed into the surrounding communities and roadway traffic by such a large-scale development.
