Calling all actors seeking a fun, Halloween themed opportunity!
Columbus Area Arts Council invites local actors to participate in the festival to help build excitement, lore, and mystery around the Mill Race Monster. Interested actors will collaborate to plan immersive performances that will help shape the festival experience. Activities include planted actors sharing monster stories with attendees, hosting spooky tours for both youth and adults, and more.
Festival Overview:
In 1974, something green and hairy was spotted in Mill Race Park. The story made the local papers, captured imaginations, and quietly became part of the city’s folklore. Now that legend returns as the Mill Race Monster Festival, a three-day celebration of art, storytelling, and delightfully strange community creativity.
