We can't even begin to express how grateful we are for our community. Thank you doesn't seem to be enough to cover the kindness we've seen today. Every single one of these bags represents a meal for a neighbor and a helping hand from someone who cares. Our hearts (and our tables) are completely full today. Thank you for showing up for us!

Special thanks to Julia Denney Parker, LaVerne Vanosdol, the Jennings County Fair Queen Pageant and all of the others who helped make today a success.

📣 We Need Your Help! 📣

Our sales this month are way lower than this month last year, and we are truly hoping to make a strong donation to the Jennings County Coordinating Council — but we can’t do it without YOU. 💙

The Council has been serving our community for 35 years, helping less-fortunate individuals and families throughout Jennings County with essential food support. They operate a food bank Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM–12:30 PM, and also take appointments as needed.

Every year, they run a Christmas Basket Program, providing over 500 baskets, each filled with everything needed to prepare a complete holiday dinner. These boxes are fully funded by donations, and packed and distributed by volunteers of all ages just a week or so before Christmas. It’s an incredible tradition — but it only happens because people like us step up.

❤️ This is where we come in.
We want to make sure our donation to them this year is strong, supportive, and meaningful. Soooo… BUY, BUY, BUY! Let us know what kind of deals YOU want to see!

🎀 This Friday is Pink Friday!
If you don’t know, Pink Friday is a nationwide movement that supports small businesses. We will be posting deals all day long, and everything will be available for pickup on Monday, November 24th. These specials will be valid next week only, so don’t miss out!

đź’¬ Tell us: What deals do you want to see posted?
📣 Please SHARE this post so we can help the Coordinating Council continue the amazing work they’ve done for three and a half decades.

Let’s rally, Jennings County! Let’s show up big. 💙💛
Your support truly makes a difference.

The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office is happy to announce a Food Drive that will benefit the Jennings County Coordinating Council's Food Pantry.

The pantry has served Jennings County residents for 29 years. They are gearing up for the 500 Christmas Food Baskets that they hand out in December to Jennings Country residents.

If you come down to the Sheriff’s Office you will see the UTV parked on the North side of our building. All items can be placed in the back of the UTV, and they will be brought in each night.

Sheriff Freeman has committed to matching the communities donations between now and November 2nd.

The Sheriff's Office will be passing out candy as normal tomorrow on Halloween, so if you stop in feel free to donate to a great cause!

We will post their wish list in the comments!

We're grateful for the individuals who joined us for The Verizon Bookbag giveaway event. Where numerous families received support despite the challenging heat. We are proud to be part of a community that comes together to make a difference. Special appreciation goes to the young volunteers who distributed bags, water and snacks with enthusiasm and dedication. We look forward to next year!

Wow! We are so proud of this organization! They've partnered up with us from the very beginning (March 2025- and on) We are very lucky to call them partners but also friends. Great job Million Meal Movement !

Million Meal Movement is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a $50,000 contribution from Honda to support our meal-packing efforts.

This funding will help power our monthly Community Packs—engaging Hoosiers in hands-on service and providing meals to food banks across Indiana. We’re also thrilled to host a special packing event for Honda employees as part of this partnership.

Thank you, Honda, for your generosity and commitment to building a better community for all!
