What a beautiful weekend for camping! We tried out some biking trails at Pachaug State Forest in CT - something new for us!

Not only did we challenge ourselves with cycling, but also cooking meals we’ve never cooked before. Chocolate lava cake, lasagna in a Dutch oven, and even blueberry pie filling made from scratch.

Here’s to trying something new!

We are excited to announce Welding Merit Badge on-site at Camp Yawgoog this summer thanks to a partnership with General Dynamics Electric Boat, and BuildSubmarines.com!

The program is designed to introduce Scouts to basic welding concepts, including tool use, materials, safety procedures, and real-world applications. The partnership highlights a shared commitment to building awareness of skilled trades and connecting young people to future career opportunities.
