The countdown to the 131st Cherry Festival & Parade is on, and we'd love your help making this year's event the best one yet!

Whether you're interested in volunteering, helping with setup, or just learning more about how you can get involved, we invite you to join us for our upcoming planning meeting.

Cherry Festival has been bringing our community together for generations, and it takes all of us to keep this beloved tradition going. Come be part of the team behind one of the Ridge's longest-running events!

The North San Juan Community Center Board of Directors will be holding its regular board meeting this Thursday, June 11, from 5:30 PM–7:00 PM at the Community Center.

Community members are encouraged to attend, learn about current projects and programs, and stay informed about what's happening at the Center. Public participation and community input are always welcome.

Whether you're interested in volunteering, learning more about our programs, or helping shape the future of the Community Center, we'd love to see you there.

That's right—along with live music, local vendors, delicious food, prizes, and all the Cherry Festival traditions you know and love, there will be even more fun for our youngest festival-goers this year.

Free Food Friday is happening tomorrow 1-3 PM, see you there!

*Volunteer needed*
Recycling Helper, 3-3:30 PM
Tasks include:
- Loading recycling into personal vehicle
- Hauling recycling to the NSJ dump (before 4:30 PM)
- recycling is FREE
- personal vehicle required

At the end of the food distribution, we have a lot of cardboard leftover and we are seeking a volunteer to take it to the Waste Management Transfer Station in NSJ (aka NSJ dump). Time is flexible, as long as it’s to the NSJ dump before it closes at 4:30 PM.

Apologies, the free store will be temporarily closed tomorrow Friday May 22 only, while volunteers transition from winter to summer clothes. It will be open next week Friday May 29.

Free Food Friday will be running as usual, Friday at 1-3 PM. Bring your own shopping bag if you can!
