We’re excited to share that the North Salem Open Land Foundation is applying for renewal of our accreditation through the Land Trust Accreditation Commission!
Accreditation is awarded to land trusts that meet rigorous national standards for ethical conduct, sound finances, responsible governance, and lasting stewardship. It reflects our commitment to protecting North Salem’s natural resources, wildlife habitat, scenic landscapes, and working lands for generations to come.
For more than 50 years, NSOLF has helped permanently protect open land throughout North Salem, including treasured forests, hayfields, and community preserves. The accreditation process strengthens our organization and helps ensure we remain a trusted conservation partner for our community.
The public comment period is now open, and community members are invited to provide feedback regarding our compliance with national quality standards.
