Will County has a new Dine Around Town Partner! Join us from 1:00-3:00 pm on May 27th at Tacos Before Vatos -El Desayuno- to help us kick off our new partnership. This great opportunity will give our older adult neighbors additional dining options.

Come and learn more about the program and get your reloadable Dine Around Town Card. The suggested meal donation at our restaurant partners is $7.00 per meal. For more information or to RSVP, call (331) 214-4544.

Thanks to a 2026 Advocacy in Action Grant from Meals on Wheels America, we took our mission to the Capitol! We had a wonderful meeting with Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky (special shoutout to Michelle!) and dropped off Older Americans Act resources to the offices of Congressman Chuy García, Rep. Lauren Underwood, Rep. Darin LaHood, and Congresswoman Robin Kelly.

Public service starts at the front door—we invite all local elected officials to join us for a delivery route anytime!

On Monday, May 11th, we were honored to receive a part of this grant from the Young Philanthropists. Such donations enable us to connect with more seniors in the Grundy County community. Thank you to the Young Philanthropists for thinking of us.

Young Philanthropist groups, made up of students from Morris Community High School, Coal City, Gardner South Wilmington and Seneca high schools, gathered with local non-profits on Monday to dole out $20,000 total in grant funding.
