The Center for Youth Impact continues empowering young minds through evolving programs, even without a permanent facility. We're thrilled to unveil our new horticulture program. This initiative goes beyond simple gardening, teaching vital life skills, fostering a connection to the natural world, and equipping youth to grow their own food.
Students manage individual plots, learning responsibility and the cycle of growth. Crucially, the program integrates entrepreneurial and nutritional education: participants sell produce to learn market economics and bring fresh harvests home to enhance family food security and healthy eating. We celebrate our youth's resilience as they cultivate not just gardens, but lifelong potential through this holistic approach.
