Car Donation for Mothers in Need

Have you ever considered donating your vehicle to help a mother in need?

“Walking with Moms in Need” (WWMIN), in partnership with “I’m in Ministry,” are in search of safe and mechanically sound used vehicles for mothers participating in our program.

Here is how the process works –
First, notify the WWMIN program that you are interested in donating your vehicle. To proceed you must have the title (no liens or probate) for the vehicle.
Second, we request permission to have our mechanic inspect the vehicle to look for structural and mechanical issues.
Third, if the vehicle passes the inspection and the title is clean, “I’m in Ministry” will accept the vehicle, transfer the title, and complete any other required paperwork.
Fourth, “I’m in Ministry” will provide you with a letter documenting your tax-deductible donation.
Finally, the vehicle will be given to a mother we are serving in our “Walking with Moms in Need Ministry” at St. Julie / St. Peter, as well as one of our partnering parishes. Contact Ann Marie & Terry Flanagan at 440-662-9068 for more information.

Walking With Moms In Need (WWMIN) recently received five beautiful baskets of donated baby items from Elyria Catholic High School. The baskets were delivered to Saint Peter Parish and were filled with diapers, bottles, swaddles, toys, pacifiers, and other baby essentials.

These baskets arrived at the perfect time, as WWMIN currently has five pregnant women who are due within the next several months. Each basket also contained a heartfelt note of encouragement, handwritten by staff members of Elyria Catholic, for the mom who will receive it.

We are feeling incredibly grateful for the generosity and kindness of our community. ❤️

Tom and Terry, two amazing volunteers from the Walking With Moms in Need ministry, delivered a bed to one of the moms we are serving in Lorain. What a beautiful act of service that will make a real difference for her and her family.

A heartfelt thank you to Bill and Jackie from Amherst for donating a mattress, box springs, and bedding. Your generosity helped make this gift possible.

And thank you to Frank from Mi Bella Casa Furniture in North Ridgeville for donating the bed frame that completed the bed. Because of you, this mom now has a comfortable and complete place to rest.

It truly takes a village to support mothers in need, and we are so thankful for each of you who stepped up to help. Your kindness is a blessing. 🙏
