Good morning! Paula Moes posted this and I’m hoping some of you might consider helping out. I pray that you all have a blessed day and a very Merry Christmas!

It is that time of year again!! Everyone is strapped for money. I have a few kids that need lunch money and to pay the debt. I also have a family that needs help paying for the Washington DC trip for their kids, or they have to withdraw from the trip. (800 total) If anyone is interested in helping my students, please let me know!! I have a Venmo and PayPal.

Holidays with Hometown Heroes is back for 2023!

On December 16th, members of the North Ridgeville Police Department, Avon, OH Police, Avon Lake Police Department, Sheffield Village Police, and Lorain County Sheriff's Office will join with local families from the county to participate in this holiday tradition.

On that Saturday morning, families, officers, and dispatchers meet up for a parade of lights and sirens to Meijer in Avon, where each child gets to go on a shopping spree for whatever they want! Once they're done there, the party moves to Avon Middle School for delicious food and a meet and greet with the big man in red himself: Santa!

These unforgettable holiday memories are made possible through generous donations from our community. If you wish to donate, you can do so with cash or a check at the dispatch window of NRPD or through Venmo with a comment saying what it is for.
