We are looking for violin, viola, cello, and bass players to fill out our string section. Whether you've been playing for decades or you're dusting off an instrument that's been in the closet since college, we'd love to have you at a rehearsal.

Rehearsals are Friday evenings at Peace Lutheran Church in Hurst.

Did you know that every year, the Northeast Orchestra hosts an Summer Chamber Music Festival for area musicians?

Registration for this year's edition is open until June 12th!

The festival brings together area musicians during the month of July to practice and learn in a low stress environment. Rehearsals are generally on Thursday evenings, but can be flexible, depending on the group.

Each group will have one coaching session with a professional chamber music coach and then all the groups get together for lunch and perform for each other on Saturday, August 1st.

It is a great way to keep up your musical skills and meet new friends!

Tonight's the night! 🎶

We've been looking forward to this one — we have Mozart kicking off the night, then two outstanding young soloists, and we'll end this season with our favorites from Holst's "The Planets."

If you're coming, we'll see you there. If you're on the fence — come on out.

Our second of TWO first-place winners 2026 Young Artist Competition also performs this Friday . 🎼

Lalo's Cello Concerto is a dramatic, passionate piece — and the third movement is gorgeous piece that showcases the instrument and Juliana Gonzalez is ready to make it sing.
