Congratulations to our 2026 Young Artist Competition Winners!

The competition was fierce this year, with 14 competitors. All played beautifully and we struggled to choose winners, finally deciding to award TWO first place prizes and a third place prize.

Come see our first place winners play at our final concert of the season on May 15, 2026!

Did you know the finale of Pictures—"The Great Gate of Kiev"—depicts a gate that was never built?

Hartmann designed it to commemorate Tsar Alexander II surviving an assassination attempt, but the project was abandoned. Mussorgsky's majestic music immortalized the imaginary gate.

Now it's more real than any stone structure could be. THIS FRIDAY at 7:30PM!

As a non-profit, we always need volunteers!

One very important person is the one who runs the slideshow--the best part? It's one of the easiest jobs to do.

If you have time and want to help, this is your call! We also have volunteer needs including setup and tear down help, ushers, and more.

Send us a DM or comment here for more information on how you can help enhance the live music experience for everyone.

Mark your calendar for March 6!

The Moldau begins with two tiny springs trickling in the Bohemian forest. Smetana builds them into brooks, then a stream, then a mighty river flowing toward Prague.

Along the way is a forest hunt, a village wedding, moonlight dancing on the water, and turbulent rapids. It's one of the most beloved pieces in the orchestra repertoire.

Tickets are available online or at the door!

Imagine walking through an art gallery where each painting comes to life in sound.

That's exactly what Mussorgsky did with Pictures at an Exhibition. After his friend Viktor Hartmann died suddenly at 39, Mussorgsky visited a memorial exhibition of his artwork, then went home and composed music for ten of the paintings.

You'll hear gnomes, an old castle, unhatched chicks, and more. March 6 at 7PM.

The Sinfonia Concertante for Four Winds in E-flat major, K. 297b (Anh. C 14.01), by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart for oboe, clarinet, horn, bassoon, and orchestra. It's Mozart at his most charming and heartfelt ... but scholars debate whether he even wrote it.

Join the NEO Chamber Orchestra on February 15th at 3pm to hear it live! 🎻

Aaron Copland's "Quiet City" is one of those pieces that stops you in your tracks.

Originally written for a play, it captures the lonely beauty of a city at night—contemplative, a little melancholy, but somehow hopeful too. Join us February 15th at 3pm to experience this American masterpiece. 🌃🎺

Did you know that Vaughan Williams wrote "Rhosymedre" as an organ prelude, but it sounds absolutely magical when played by a chamber orchestra?

We're thrilled to perform this Welsh-inspired gem on February 15th. The title means "Ford of the Mead River" in Welsh—beautiful, right? 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿✨
