Community Enrichment Center

Community Enrichment Center The Community Enrichment Center’s (CEC) mission is to Change Lives by Restoring Hope and Sharing God’s Love.

The Community Enrichment Center’s (CEC) mission is to restore hope, share God’s love and change lives. Originally formed in 1988 to provide grocery assistance to low-income families in Northeast Tarrant County, the CEC has expanded our services to serve victims of domestic violence, homeless and low-income families and individuals in Tarrant County. Today, the CEC works directly with these families and individuals to move them out of crisis by providing safe housing, food, counseling, high school equivalency education classes, financial coaching, free income tax preparation and employment readiness resources. These tools and Christ-centered, fully-integrated resources help the CEC to restore hope and guide families toward a solid foundation and bright future which will end the cycle of domestic violence and poverty.

We are thrilled to announce a brand new chapter for our holiday experience.

Our beloved CEC Christmas Extravaganza is evolving into CEC Season of Hope! As we gear up to serve 1,200 at-risk children and their families in Birdville ISD, we are embracing this fresh identity with big dreams for our community.

Big changes are here:
📍 New Venue: We are moving to the Wiley G. Thomas Coliseum (the same location used for Refresh).
🎉 New Experience: We are shifting back to an in-person gathering featuring a Christmas Village designed to bring holiday magic to every family.

Visit cecseasonofhope.org to see our toy drive map and how you can make an impact. Volunteer registration is now open!

It is finally fall, and we are already looking ahead to make this Christmas magical for some Birdville families!

Kick off the season with us at the CEC Season of Hope Toy Drive Kickoff on Oct. 1 at Heavenly Crust. We’re teaming up to support Birdville ISD families on the free and reduced lunch program, and we need your help to make the holidays bright.

Drop off a toy and stay for the pizza! Bring a new, unwrapped toy, then grab a table and enjoy some incredible pizza for dinner. A portion of the evening's proceeds will go straight back to the Season of Hope campaign.

See you there!

Every gift creates a ripple of stability right here in our community.
When you give to the CEC today for North Texas Giving Day, your support translates directly into real, life-changing action:

$25 feeds a family of three for two weeks
$50 provides supplies to prepare affordable housing units for new tenants
$100 purchases 1,000 lbs of food for our food pantry
$500 helps provide critical rent and utility assistance to keep families in their homes
