My oldest son joined Pack 321 as a Tiger Cub and struck with it until he Eagled in Troop 321 in 2014. My youngest son joined P-321 as a Tiger Cub as well. I served as Tiger Cub Den Leader, followed by serving as Cub Master for a few years. I then served as Scoutmaster for a few years, too. During my active scouter time I also served on troop committee, as Trailblazer District Camping Chair, and chaired several camp-o-rees, webelos-to-woods, Cub-o-rees, and some district shooting sports days. Needless to say, I and my sons acquired tons of patches over the decade and a half journey. An aunt, whom I knew was a quilter/seamstress, was visiting Texas several years ago when I asked her if she could make a quilt or a wall hanging of some sort for us utilizing all the patches we had acquired. She hesitated after seeing the boxes of patches, but relented and said sure, she could come up with something. It took her a couple of years, but finalized this beautiful wall hanging early last year. There was a caveat; I had to travel to her home in Minnesota to pick it up in person. It hung on her entry wall for all her visitors and our relatives to see until I was able to pick it up last September. This awesome piece hangs proudly on our wall in our living room to remind us of all our adventures as a family! There are also patches from my Cub Scout days in Wisconsin as well as my father's Cub & Boy Scout days in Wisconsin, too!
