A little late but we are so proud of all of our students who exhibited projects at the State Fair of Texas!!

-Payton H placed 12th with her lightweight market goat. Only one spot away from sale!
-Kennedy G and Jaxon S both exhibited their market barrows
-Kelby L walked away with Jr AOP Grand Champion, Youth Jr Reserve champion AOP AND Jr Best in Show!
-Kennedy G won Grand Champion Dairy Goat Educational Board
-Peyton D placed 2nd with her Jr Lamancha
And congrats to all of our Dairy Wether exhibitors!

Exciting things happening in September!

Sept 8th- Our FIRST chapter meeting of the year. This is open to any student in an ag class! There will also be a representative from Ag Backers to answer any questions from parents for those interested in coming. We will also have a short introduction on how to use Seitz Fundraising app after the meeting.

Sept 14th- We are kicking off Seitz fundraiser for the year. Cured meats, cookies, car freshies and more! This fundraiser helps us raise fund for various LDE/CDE/SDE contests, meetings, and banquet! Our top seller will receive a CUSTOM BUCKLE! Make sure to pick up a packet from the teachers to start selling.

Last week, five of our Birdville FFA members represented our chapter at the Texas FFA State Convention in Fort Worth! Throughout the week, they attended leadership workshops, spoke with state officers, enjoyed the rodeo, participated in Fun Night, and made memories with thousands of FFA members from across Texas.
A very special congratulations goes to Kennedy G and Addie V on earning their Lone Star Degrees! They are the first-ever Birdville FFA members to receive this prestigious honor, and we couldn't be more proud of their hard work, dedication, and commitment to our chapter!💙💛
