North Reading Historical and Antiquarian Society

North Reading Historical and Antiquarian Society Sharing, Preserving, and Celebrating the History of North Reading, Massachusetts: A Small Town With a Big Past!

The North Reading Historical & Antiquarian Society, Inc. began its existence as the North Reading Antiquarian Club about 1953. In 1963, the group incorporated as the North Reading Historical & Antiquarian Society. Application was made and granted to be a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization for preservation and educational purposes. The Historical Society is an ALL volunteer organization and has

undertaken the restoration and supervision of several historic structures at NO cost to the taxpayers. Funds are raised by fairs, such as the Apple Festival, and the sale of merchandise (tee shirts, sweatshirts, tote bags, mugs, afghans, and jewelry) and generous donations from members, local businesses, and residents.
