🎁 Gearing Up for the Biggest Week of the Year! 🎁

🎄 The Mighty Meredith Project is entering our most impactful week of the year, delivering toys, gift cards, and family sponsorships to bring joy and comfort to families in need during the holiday season to our two major recipients Hasbro Children's and Tufts Medical Center and the families they service.

🤝A dedicated group of volunteers has been, and will continue, working tirelessly behind the scenes to make it all happen. This isn’t just about the work; it’s about the demonstration of the impact we make and the true reason for the season.

😊 Every delivery we make is a reminder of why we keep moving MMP forward year after year. The smiles on children’s faces, the relief for caregivers, and the gratitude from families and medical care providers fuel our mission to bring kindness, hope, and support to those who need it most.

💖 $5 – A coffee gift card to keep a tired mom or dad or a caregiver going.
☕ $10 – Coffee gift cards for both parents/caregiver, because sometimes they need that extra boost.

🌟 Why We Keep Going 💖

The Mighty Meredith Project started with Meredith, our inspiration and heart. Now thriving in college, she no longer needs major medical care—but so many families still do. That’s why we continue.

Since 2016, MMP has supported families at Tufts Medical Center - Child Life, Boston Children’s Hospital - Pediatric Neurology, and Hasbro Children's, reaching across New England and helping our own community members who seek care at these hospitals. Through our annual campaign, we provide toys, gift cards, and critical support—not just at the holidays but all year. These funds cover groceries, gas, parking, and even entire holiday celebrations, giving families a chance to focus on what matters most - getting their sick child better or in the hands of world class medical providers.

We’re sponsoring 20 families allowing for them to have a Christmas morning, distributing 1,000+ toys, books, and clothing items, and providing gift cards to pediatric clinics. But we can’t do it without you!

Thank You for Your Incredible Support!

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for our North Reading community! Thanks to your generosity and the leadership of Matt Libby and many (many) NRHS volunteers from the sophomore class, we have already collected, sorted, and stickered nearly 600 toys, over $500 in gift cards, and $500 in donations, putting us well on our way to our goal of 1,000 toys and $10,000 in donations for the Month of December.

A huge thank you goes out to Burlington Self Storage and Chris Capozzoli for the much-needed storage unit and to Nancy Carpenter for the donation of the bags. It really does take a village to make all of this come together in a very short period of time.

Your kindness fuels the Mighty Meredith Project, helping us bring hope and support to families in need, specifically children and undergoing medical care during the holidays and throughout the year.

Today also marks the start of our annual Capital Campaign—our one big fundraiser of the year. This campaign is vital to keeping us going and allowing us to spread kindness year-round.

Our Story

The Mighty Meredith Project is an organization dedicated to promoting kindness especially to those who suffer silently, giving back to the medical community and educating and raising awareness of Traumatic Brain Injuries and their hidden impact.

Founded by Meredith Casey in the summer of 2017, as a way for her to create a new normal after experiencing a Traumatic Brain Injury in December 2015 that escalated from an initial diagnosis of a concussion to a blood clot in the brain to present day struggles associated with a TBI requiring her to give up much of what she had come to love up to the age of 11.

Born out of the kindness of friends and strangers, Meredith has created an avenue through the Mighty Meredith Project to not only recognize and promote the impact of having a hidden illness with a specific emphasis on Traumatic Brain Injuries, but also provides support and resources to the medical community and patients in a way only one can know whom has experienced such an illness and serves as a kindness ambassador to those who suffer silently, since it was the kindness of many who brought Meredith hope during challenging days.

The mission of the Mighty Meredith Project is simple: We perform and encourage acts of kindness and giving to shine a bright light on the impact of having a hidden illness with the vision to to make our communities a kinder place, one act at a time.
