A few more pictures from the in-school enrichment: Mark Rothstein of World of Rope Jumping for showing us that fitness can be fun! Mark shared his jaw dropping and inspiring assembly with our students, and then taught individual workshops to each class. Tomorrow!
Tomorrow, Friday, May 29, our students and staff will participate in a special Multicultural Focus Day, designed to celebrate cultures, traditions, storytelling, music, and global connections through engaging schoolwide enrichment experiences. Throughout the day, students will have opportunities to learn from guest presenters who will share personal experiences, cultural traditions, history, music, and folktales from around the world.
We are excited to welcome Muriel Johnson for a schoolwide enrichment presentation titled:
We are also inviting students to participate by wearing clothing that reflects their cultural heritage on this day. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to express pride in their backgrounds and to learn from one another in a respectful and celebratory way. Students are encouraged to wear traditional or culturally significant attire, or colors and items that represent their heritage, if they feel comfortable doing so. We ask that all clothing choices remain appropriate for a school setting and that this experience is approached with respect and appreciation for all cultures.

This event was presented by the Parents Association in partnership with the North Reading Youth Substance Use Prevention Coalition

Our students have been working incredibly hard over the past several weeks preparing for this special performance, and we would love for our entire school community to come out and support them.
