There’s still time to be part of a North Port holiday tradition!

Sponsor an interactive kids zone, provide a family activity or explore our tiered sponsorship options for the Poinsettia Parade & Festival, presented by Quality TV Smart Home & Security.

Give families a reason to stop, spend time with your team and remember your organization. Sponsoring an activity creates a chance to interact directly with residents, while tiered sponsorships offer recognition that keeps your organization visible throughout this North Port holiday tradition.

The celebration takes place from 3-7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, at the City Center Campus, 4970 City Hall Blvd.

Explore opportunities at NorthPortFL.gov/Poinsettia, then contact Kimberly Lencki at [email protected] to arrange your sponsorship.

🎃 Tricky Halloween Weekend! 🌧️
The kids may need to dodge rain drops this weekend! The good news is the majority of the rain will fall Sunday. But later Saturday - Trick or Treat 👻 time - showers will be on the increase, passing by.
So it’s not a wash out Saturday, but the kids may want to bring a poncho!
Sunday however looks like a rare rainy day across the not-so-sunshiny state.
Thanks,

🦅♟️ EAGLES PLAY WITH PURPOSE!

In our Unique Skills classes at Wellen Park High School, students are building executive functioning skills for life, one game at a time!

Games like Chess, Connect 4, and Guess Who? are more than just fun! They provide meaningful opportunities for students to think ahead, plan, strengthen working memory, manage impulses, and adapt when things don’t go as expected.

Through play, our Eagles are developing critical thinking, cognitive flexibility, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in a fun, engaging, and low-pressure environment.

💡 Because sometimes, the most meaningful learning happens when students are simply playing, thinking, and reflecting!

At WPHS, every opportunity is an opportunity to learn, grow, and SOAR! 🦅
