1 Peter 4:9-11 CSB β Be hospitable to one another without complaining. Just as each one has received a gift, use it to serve others, as good stewards of the varied grace of God. If anyone speaks, let it be as one who speaks Godβs words; if anyone serves, let it be from the strength God provides, so that God may be glorified through Jesus Christ in everything. To him be the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.
Often the real gift is the ability to give to others. The world focuses on the tangible, less meaningful item.
Our gift at the ST NICK Project is allow giving to be done in secret, as we are reminded to do in the book of Matthew, chapter 6, so our reward is heavenly instead of earthly. Your donation is distributed to the needy in total and complete anonymity.
One of the questions often asked is how are the recipients selected. We're happy to answer that question. Very often, churches and, especially, teachers are our resource for learning of children and their families who are in need. Individuals also message us directly through the year to inquire about help for the elderly, or a family.
The private sharing about those in need is a vital gift to us, just as is the monetary gift. π Always, the most important gift is your prayers and that which is given with a joyful heart. β€οΈ
Year round need continues. We also require continual giving to meet the need. We're very thankful for those who keep the Christmas spirit all year long by helping others through the ST NICK Project.
We're excited to share that God is doing a new thing through this organization, and we'll be announcing details very soon.
Stay tuned.
