🌟 WHO IS LEADERSHIP LINCOLN COUNTY? Meet Erin Heald!

We’re excited to introduce you to the participants of Leadership Lincoln County! This series is all about getting to know the individuals who are investing in their leadership, building connections, and learning more about the communities that make up Lincoln County.

Meet Erin Heald, Operations Manager, Asset Protection at Walmart Distribution Center 7018 in North Platte!

With more than 12 years of experience at Walmart, Erin leads efforts focused on safety, compliance, risk reduction, and operational excellence. She especially enjoys developing leaders, strengthening workplace safety, and building teams that make a positive difference for associates and the community.

Here’s a fun fact: Although Erin moved to Nebraska just two years ago, her North Platte connection goes back generations! Her grandmother was born here in 1906. ❤️ When she’s not at work, Erin enjoys traveling and exploring new places with her husband, getting creative with design, and spending time with her three pugs!

We’re glad to have Erin as part of this Leadership Lincoln County class and look forward to seeing the connections and ideas that grow throughout the program.

Join us in welcoming Erin! 👏

Leadership Lincoln County — Session One!

What a fantastic start to the 2026-2027 Leadership Lincoln County journey! Yesterday’s first session was packed with learning, connection, and a whole lot of fun. 🙌

A big thank you to BK Mayor Kelliher for welcoming our Leadership Lincoln County participants and kicking off the day!

We dove into our community’s roots with Cassie Condon of the North Platte Chamber & Development, who shared a fascinating history presentation and helped set the stage for understanding where Lincoln County has been and where we’re headed.

A special thank you to Jill Vaughn from Deborah's Legacy, who provided each participant with a personal CliftonStrengths study. What a valuable opportunity for our class to better understand their individual strengths and how they can use them to become stronger leaders! 💪✨

Kirsten Parker of GatherWorks brought the energy with an interactive session on Parliamentary Procedures. Learning the rules doesn’t have to be boring—and Kirsten proved it! 👏

We were also honored to hear from Kim Schroll, a past Leadership Lincoln County participant and VP/Chief Operating Officer at NebraskaLand Bank, as she shared her perspective on why leadership matters and the impact strong leaders can have in their communities. NebraskaLand Bank also generously provided lunch for the group. Thank you! 💙

And we couldn’t end the day without a little friendly competition! 🕵️‍♀️🔎 Our afternoon scavenger hunt was won by the PINK TEAM! 💗🏆

A special thank you to Visit North Platte for providing our awesome swag bags!

We’re excited to watch this group learn, grow, connect and lead throughout the Leadership Lincoln County program. Here’s to a great year ahead! 🌟
