The North Platte Elks Lodge collects deer hides every year to process into leather gloves for veterans in wheelchairs.

North Platte Elks are collecting deer hides to be made into gloves for our wheelchair veterans. Hides can be dropped of at the southeast corner of the lot at our small shed at 502 Easy Street. Salt is provided and we ask that if you can salt the hide, if not we will salt the hide. Also these hides are used as crafts for veterans in VA hospitals and homes.
