North American Junior Red Angus Event FUZION by NAJRAE 2026 will be held June 21-27, 2026 Woodward, Oklahoma. Celebrating 20 years this summer in Spencer, Iowa. Where it all began.

FUZION by NAJRAE is the only national junior livestock event focused on Red Angus and Angus-influenced junior cattle show and the next generation of ag leaders. We bring families together to compete, lead, and grow—while honoring the traditions of hard work, character, and community.

As of now the following statement is required for entering from a non-infested zone in TX. Keep in mind this is a very fast evolving situation, and I highly recommend double checking with us just prior to movement as infested zones are quickly moving into current surveillance zones and can be changing at a moments notice.


“All animals in shipment do not originate from or transit through an NWS Infested Zone”

Any species that originate from an infested zone will need to meet the movement requirements for the state of origin AND obtain a permit from Oklahoma State Veterinarian’s office AND have a CVI within 5 days with the following statement:

“All animals listed were individually inspected and found free of wounds”

New requirement for the NWS adjacent surveillance zone: all animals must have a CVI within 5 days with a statement:

"All animals listed have been individually inspected and found free of wounds"

Here is also a map to see infested zones and adjacent surveillance zones on TX website. But again, this can change with a moment notice.

As a Senior Board member, one of the things I've been most excited about is seeing NAJRAE expand beyond borders. For years, people talked about creating opportunities to connect internationally, but NAJRAE actually made it happen. We didn't just talk about it—we crossed borders, shared ideas, and built relationships that continue to grow.

Innovation has always been a big part of what we do. That's why we introduced exciting additions like Moo Madness. It's like a Heifer Jackpot. Moo Madness brings a fast-paced, high-energy atmosphere to the show ring. In a quick head-to-head format, three judges make an immediate decision by indicating their choice with a raised hand. The winning heifer advances while the other is eliminated, creating a bracket-style competition that keeps exhibitors and spectators engaged from start to finish.

We've also taken successful concepts and incorporated them into our own Canadian programs. Features like Top Five recognition provide exhibitors with additional opportunities to be acknowledged for their hard work and success.

It's funny how things come full circle. After offering enough opinions and suggestions, eventually someone says, "Maybe you should run for the board." When that opportunity came, I embraced it. I enjoy contributing ideas, helping shape the future of the organization, and being part of the conversations that continue moving us forward.

I have great memories of our time in Brookings and I'm even more excited about where we're headed next. As a stand-alone show, we've created additional opportunities for youth and families to participate. Large events can sometimes make it difficult for exhibitors to connect and stand out, but here, kids have more chances to interact, build friendships, and engage directly with one another. That's what makes this organization special—the people, the opportunities, and the commitment to creating an experience where every exhibitor feels like they belong.

Members with the HIGHEST money donated to them will receive a pie in the face at Moo Madness. If total donations exceed $2500 then the entire Junior Board will receive a pie in the face. 💲💵

As a father of young exhibitors, finding an event that truly puts families and kids first means everything.

The first time we attended FUZION in Stillwater back in 2016, we were just spectators. What impressed me wasn't only the quality of the cattle—it was the people. The atmosphere was welcoming, the event was organized, and it was clear the focus was on creating a positive experience for exhibitors and their families.

Today, FUZION continues to evolve and create opportunities for even more families to get involved and build relationships across breeds. Give everyone an opportunity.

This year's event in Woodward, Oklahoma is shaping up to be one of the most exciting yet. The facility was made for an event like this—an incredible staff, a layout that keeps everything close and convenient, dedicated spaces for shows, contests, and the banquet, plus the comfort of an air-conditioned facility.

What really excites me is how FUZION continues to grow. Beyond the traditional Red Angus and Black Red Carrier divisions, exhibitors can now compete in Angus Influence divisions, creating more opportunities for families to bring the cattle they are proud of and be part of the experience. It's about opening doors, welcoming more exhibitors, and giving more kids a chance to compete, learn, and belong.

And the fun doesn't stop in the show ring. There are contests, leadership activities, family events, great food, new friendships, and memories being made all week long. Whether you're bringing your first calf or competing at a high level, there's a place for you at FUZION.
