“What is a Nebraska Sparkler??”

Formerly known as the Nebraska Little Sisters Program - we now represent the national Miss America’s Little Sisters Mentoring Program as your Nebraska’s Sparklers chapter.

The program began as a goodwill gesture between girls in the local community and the visiting delegates. The Big and Little Sisters are introduced to either a Miss or Teen delegate from the Miss Nebraska Organization. During the competition week, they rehearse together, take the stage, have some time activities and building friendships. These friendships last for many years and create a lasting bond between the big sister and little sister.

{Cookies} each sign up slot represents 2 dozen cookies. Please bring these to the North Platte High School kitchen by Thursday, June 5th - we will have alumni day so you can bring them during that time (details to come).

Yesterday we posted volunteer signups in the private Nebraska Sparkler alumni page. If you still need added to the group from years past please reach out 💕

Our alumni will help donate cookies, take tickets & raise money at the concessions stand to go towards the Non-Finalist Talent Scholarship Awards.

We hope to see SO many alumni this year, you mean so much to our program.
