Happy Sunday 308 BMX friends and followers! We know it's been a while since we last posted and we apologize for that, but not much has been happening this winter. Just a quick update. We are still in need of more volunteers! Immediate needs will be for attending and organizing fundraising events (some heavy lifting may be required!). The rolls of the volunteer will change once the pump track and BMX track are constructed! PLEASE DM US HERE if you are interested in joining the 308 BMX volunteer board and family/committee! We would like to have between 8-10 adult/parent volunteers, however more is always welcome. We are still short of our build fundraising goal for the pump track hence the reason neither track has been started! We are happy to answer any questions you may have, just reach out! Thank you to all the supporters yesterday during the North Platte Giving Day! We ended with $1,980 in gifts. We still have a ways to go before we can start building and we have a deadline of April 30 2025 to be complete! Stay tuned for more events that we will be hosting and/or attending! Our Modular Pumptrack USA system should be here next week so like and follow us as we get prepared for an awesome summer!

Exciting news! We have ordered a system from Modular Pumptrack USA to compliment the future build of the community pump track and the USA BMX race track! This system is portable and we will have it available at special events and then it will become a permanent fixture at the pump track location! Get ready for some fun times!!!

We realize it has been a little bit since we posted so here is a quick progress report! Our fundraising goals are moving along nicely as we currently sit at 80% to goal for the phase 1 pump track and approximately 80% for the phase 2 USA BMX race track. We are working very hard at getting end of year tax deductible donations, grant opportunities, and sponsors! We will also be participating in the Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation end of year giving event starting on November 28th so mark your calendar! Thank you everyone for your patience and support!
