Bike Walk Nebraska is leading the first phase of a statewide study exploring the economic impact of trail use, the impact of trails on community health, and an analysis of trail funding sources across Nebraska.

We're seeking input from trail users, businesses that benefit from trail infrastructure, organizations that support public trails, and local government representatives who manage trail building and maintenance programs.

Your opinion shapes the future of trail infrastructure statewide.

Warmer weather means more time on bikes, motorcycles, scooters and e-bikes. Hit the streets safely by always wearing a helmet and staying alert to your surroundings!

Simple acts like wearing a helmet, paying attention to traffic, pedestrians and road conditions, and following traffic laws and signals can help keep you safe.

Stay focused. Stay safe. May is National Trauma Awareness Month, a reminder that many injuries are preventable and safety starts with you.

We're so excited that the City Council approved moving forward with our Iron Horse Park Trail Project! We are so grateful for you all!

Construction of the project will begin this summer with completion by December!
Oh - and did we mention today is Giving Day Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation? While phases 1 & 2 will start construction, we are still fundraising to meet our goal to complete phase 3 - which will connect the trail on the south side to the Veteran's Memorial and the Caboose! This giving day - think of the North Platte Trails Network and help us create a full loop!!

We’re so excited for our upcoming Triathlon/5K on Saturday, May 2nd! Right now, we have 7 athletes ready to race, and we need at least 20 registrations by April 17th to make this event happen. It was a beautiful morning on the Trails! 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ We had over 70 people in attendance, collected about a dozen shoes for the Shoes4Good organization, and raised over $500 in donations for the North Platte Trail Network!
Our community is amazing! Happy New Year to all and thank you for your continued support in growing trails in North Platte!
