Alice Beatty Chapter of ATHA We are a local chapter of ATHA (Association of Traditional Hooking Artists) who specialize in rug hooking and other fiber arts

ABC formed in 1981 under the leadership of Alice Beatty, a local rug hooking artisan. Originally, the group was named "The Molly Pitcher Chapter" after the famous New Jersey Revolutionary War heroine. After Alice's death in 1984, the chapter renamed itself to honor its founder.
