North Plainfield BSA Troop 235 Public page of Scouts BSA Troop 235 of North Plainfield NJ Our charter began over 60 years ago and has been continuous with the WEEPTA ever since.

Scouts BSA Troop 235 is a chartered organization of the West End Elementary Parent-Teacher Association. Troop 235 has a successful legacy as a youth leadership program, offering dynamic outdoor activities and service projects within and beyond the "Proud Community" of North Plainfield, New Jersey. Using the 'Patrol Method' and 'Teaching E.D.G.E.', we Scouts plan, lead, and review their Troop meeti

ngs, activities, and outings, all under the guidance of the trained Scoutmasters. We Scouts mentor and encourage each other to overcome obstacles, grow and thrive by following the merits of the Scout Oath and Law. We also actively seek opportunities for community service, participatory citizenship, and wilderness adventure. Membership in Troop 235 is open to boys who are over the age of 10 and completed fifth grade. Troop 235 is also recognized as a special-needs supportive unit. However, ALL youth and parents interested in learning more about the Scouts BSA program are encouraged to contact our Scoutmasters or visit one of our Troop Meetings.

Welcome to Scouts BSA Troop 235 in North Plainfield, NJ!
With their primary focus on fun, Troop 235 Scouts engage with and learn from each other in a positive and safe environment. Our Scouts work together and mentor each other on leadership development, outdoor skills, service to the community, and rank advancement. Our Scoutmasters and Troop Committee actively support the Scouts' outdoor activity and high adventure goals.
