♻️ Community in Action!

Our members, Anne D’Souza and Maira, represented the Kiwanis Club of North Palm Beach at Resource Depot’s very first REpair & REpurpose Café on October 11!

From sewing and jewelry repair to bike and clothing fixes, volunteers gave broken items a second life—keeping waste out of our landfills and creativity alive in Palm Beach County.

Anne and Maira proudly wore their Kiwanis shirts while sharing our mission of service and even helped connect a guest with a local Kiwanis Club! 💙

Events like this remind us that every small fix creates a lasting impact. Thank you, Resource Depot, for inviting us to be part of this inspiring day of sustainability and community collaboration.

📚 Spreading the Love of Reading!

Last October 1st, our Kiwanis Club of North Palm Beach had the honor of welcoming Kristin Calder, CEO of the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County.

We gained so much insight into the incredible work they do to help children and adults discover the power of reading — something many of us are fortunate to do every day. If you can read this post, consider it a gift worth sharing. 💙

Inspired by their mission, our members have volunteered to support local reading programs and help more kids experience the joy of books. This marks the beginning of our yearly literacy projects, and we’re excited to continue making a difference, one page at a time. ✨

🌧️⚾ The Miracle League game may have been cancelled today due to weather, but that didn’t stop our Kiwanis family from showing up! Rain or shine, our members are always ready to support and serve. 💙💛

Service doesn’t get rained out, it only gets stronger.💪

🌟 A New Chapter for Kiwanis Club of North Palm Beach 🌟

Yesterday, our club celebrated a beautiful milestone—welcoming Epiphany Masaganda as our new Club President for 2025–2026! 💙💛

It was an evening filled with gratitude, appreciation, laughter, and even a few happy tears. Together, we reflected on the past year and looked ahead to the exciting possibilities before us.

We are grateful to Past Presidents Brenda Markert and Rich McMichael for their leadership and heartfelt words:

✨ Serving with Heart at the Kravis Center Give Back Event ✨

On September 16, 2025, members of the Kiwanis Club of North Palm Beach joined hands with the Palm Beach County Food Bank at the Kravis Give Back Event. Together with many others in our community, we helped pack thousands of meals to support local families in need.

Moments like these remind us why we serve—because kids need Kiwanis, and so do families. 💙💛

A big thank-you to the Palm Beach County Food Bank and the Kravis Center for hosting such a meaningful event. We are proud to be part of a community that shows up for one another.

Tonight, we celebrated a very successful 2025 Kiwanis District Convention over dinner at La Bamba Mexican Restaurant. 🌮❤️

The food was amazing, the laughter was contagious, and the company couldn’t have been better. A perfect ending to a weekend filled with learning, service, and fellowship.

What an inspiring weekend at the 2025 Kiwanis Florida District Convention at PGA National! 💙💛

I had the honor of hosting my workshop, “A Heart to Serve, A Life to Live”, sharing how we can align passion with purpose while maintaining balance in our service and our lives.

We also learned from Gary Frechette in his empowering session, “Naturally High”, about making healthier choices and living life to the fullest. And Day Scott shared the exciting news for the 2025–2026 Governors’ Project — a powerful initiative focused on the importance of reading to young children. 📚✨

Grateful for the connections, conversations, and renewed inspiration to keep serving our communities with heart.

It was such a great time with Ruth, Maira, Anne, Brenda, Laney, Temple, Gary, Charmaine, Gordon, Day, Delvin, and Shalon.

And into the next event, which was for Christie‘s school supply fund a whole host of volunteers, including FPL, students, parents, Kiwanis of Palm Beach Gardens and variety of organizations were able to stuff 900++ backpacks 🎒 for students and local schools in what has become a yearly event before schools reopen for the season.

Anne, Ashley, Shalon, Charlotte, Gordon, Maira, Ruth, Scott, Rich, Epiphany and Marshall made it a double header today!
