Dear school year 26/27...
Please be kind to our children, patient with their hearts and minds.
Remind them that they are worthy, they belong and that they matter.
Please release their worries, ease their anxiety and strengthen their confidence.
Please help nurture their love of learning and trying new things.
Please let them have teachers, admins, coaches and staff that cheer for them and their successes big or small.
Please guide them to make real friends who allow them to be their true selves.
Please give them access to all resources that will allow them to be their best and set them up for success.
Please allow them to come home
Please keep them safe.
Please let them know they are loved unconditionally, even on their worst days.
Please give them the courage to know that a grade is a letter on a piece of paper that does not define them.
Please let them be kind and others be kind to them.
Please assure them that as long as they are trying, they cant fail.
And please protect the parents who struggle with letting them go one year at a time.
Please allow them to believe in themselves.

Please have a safe, successful, and amazing 26/27 school year
